Description
Yellow Peel is a fractional peel with powerful clarifying and depigmenting properties. It is specially indicated to be applied exclusively on pigment spots.
Thanks to its powerful exfoliating action, it stimulates the elimination of the epidermal and dermal-epidermal skin layers.
Yellow peel acts as a powerful tyrosinase inhibitor, providing a clarifying and depigmenting effect.
Its name is due to the yellow colour of its main ingredient: retinol.
LOCALIZED SPOTS – RETINOL
Yellow Peel composition:
Retinol – 0,1%
Resorcinol – 14%
Trichloroacetic acid
14% Lactic acid
13% Salicylic acid
5% pH of this skin at 0.3-1.5
The indications:
Its main indication is the treatment of hyperchromic spots, produced by the sun, skin aging and hormonal effects.
Integral facial rejuvenation treatment for fine wrinkles and acne scars, stretch marks, devitalized skin, lack of brightness, dullness, uneven colouring or discoloured skin.
Skin preparation:
Thoroughly clean and remove make-up from the skin to be treated with a classic micellar solution.
Apply the degreasing lotion: Soak a gauze in degreasing lotion and apply evenly
Rub vigorously over the area to be treated to ensure that the fatty layer of the skin is completely cleaned.
Protocol:
Apply the product with a cotton bud to the surface as evenly as possible. Apply several coats of product directly to the spot.
The yellow layer must be left on the skin for a period of time programmed by the professional.
To remove: Clean the areas, spot by spot, with a compress soaked in neutral soap.
The duration will depend on the phototype of the skin and the intensity of the treatment.
Recommended application times: 30 to 60 minutes depending on the pigmentation. To be assessed by the professional.
Repeat the treatment every 7-10 days, leaving the product on for up to 1-2 hours. The patient should neutralise it at home with a gentle soap.
Sessions:
The interval between sessions is decided by the doctor and depends on the intensity of the injuries and the patient’s skin response.
The patient should use sun protection during treatment.
A scab may form on the treated areas. Do not remove the scab. Apply a post procedure healing cream between sessions. The crust will fall off by itself in 7 to 10 days.
The patient should not be exposed to the sun without sun protection during the treatment. Recommend maximum protection when exposed.
