Mesopeel TCA – Trichloroacetic Acid Chemical Peel.
Mesopeel TCA 15% is a solution of trichloroacetic acid, the formula of which is based on a water-glycerin basis. Applying one layer of this acid causes removal of the stratum corneum of the epidermis, whereas when four layers are applied, chemical peels can reach the reticular layer of the dermis.
To use Mesopeel TCA 15% and determine the number of applied layers, you should estimate the skin thickness, the surface to be treated, the concentration of trichloroacetic acid, the volume of the solution and the number of layers to apply.
The main dermatological effect of Mesopeel TCA 15% is as follows:
Increased activity of fibroblasts, which synthesize various macromolecules of the extracellular matrix (glucosaminoglycans and structural proteoglycans);
Reorganization of collagen and elastin fibres with improved physiological and mechanical properties of the skin.

Mesopeel TCA 15% is recommended for phototypes I, II and III on the Fitzpatrick scale. For phototypes IV, V, and VI, a clinical evaluation of the appropriateness of using this drug should be made, depending on the risk-benefit ratio for the patient.
Peeling is indicated for the treatment of photoaging, small and deep wrinkles, superficial scars, various types of pigmentary dyschromia, including melasma and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, lentigo and freckles, actinic and seborrheic keratosis, acne and post-acne scars.
The drug can be used on any parts of the body, including the periorbital zone.
Carry out no more than 2-3 peeling procedures per year, with an interval of at least 4 months.
Peeling is NOT washed away and NOT NEUTRALIZED !!!
